International Women's Day Lunch

The 4th annual Ignite International Woman's Day Lunch takes place in one of Glasgow's finest settings and is a wonderful opportunity for good food, good company & great conversations.

The day kicks off at 12.30pm with a sparkling reception and will be followed by a sumptuous three course lunch. Between each course we will be joined by a woman speaker who will reflect on life & being a woman in today's world.

Tickets are priced at £42 each. Tables of 10 can be purchased for £420 or individual tickets are available too.

On the day fundraising will be in aid of Children 1st.

Maggie Craig, Chair of Children 1st
Maggie spent all her executive career in the financial services industry most recently at the Financial Conduct Authority. Having left the FCA, Maggie is now Chair of Children 1st, Scotland’s national children’s charity and chairs the Audit and Risk Committee of the Scottish Courts and Tribunal Service. She is an external examiner for the Financial Services and Regulation Skills module of the Diploma at The University of Edinburgh Law School and is an honorary Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries. Maggie has been active on Diversity and Inclusion issues for several years with particular focus on mental health issues in part because she lives with a significant mental health condition.
In her leisure time, Maggie reads a lot, plays the piano very badly, finds things for her retired husband to do and walks for miles with her three Labradors – one yellow, one chocolate and one black.
